The cards must say something like:

"May the Joys of Marxist-Leninism Light Your Way to a Bright and
Productive New Year!"

Mostly they say "S novym godom", or "Happy New Year". In that, they
do represent, no fooling, a Commie War on Christmas(C).

But I'll admit that some of them are kind of cute. In a Communistic
way, of course.

Most of them are very stylized or imaginary, though there are real
representations insterspersed. There's one labelled "Voskhod" which
looks nothing like a Voskhod launcher, some cartoonish
Vostok-cosmonauts
under parachute, and the following ones with what look like:
