Interesting. I've seen the green flash once, in Hawaii. It was much
larger, much brighter. But I suppose it is very difficult to capture
the precise moment unless you are using video.

You said it! I've only seen a couple of green flashes, but to have it with
the planets and that wild moonrise...

Fabulous, Pete. And Anthony on APOD today - it all gets a bit
overwhelming.

There's something about astro pics that have the Earth involved that
is very affecting. The astounding Hubble type images of galactic
collisions etc, albeit very beautiful, are to alien to ordinary
experience, too abstract, to get this kind of gut reaction.

What a treat.
