Default Broken tripod and excellent service !

I received my Helios 200mm with its EQ5 early May this year.
pThis week, whilst moving from location a to b, I reset the tripod leg
height, and two of the bushes in the tripod legs popped out. Afdter gently
tapping them back in I realised that it was a fatal flaw in the tripod
and sent an email Sunday eve to S W Optics to tell Steve of my plight.
pThis morning at 0920, I had an email saying that the tripod would be
collected by courier tomorrow morning and will be "sorted"... Now thats
pretty efficient service by anybody's standards (esp mine !).
pI will report back on how long the repair / replacement takes and how
good the "new" tripod turns out to be.......
pAnyone else ever popped these little tapped bushes ? The part on the
tripod into which they are inserted has turned out to be made of plastic,
not metal, therein lies thge flaw I suspect !
pLater....
