Per: Double cluster
Hello Chaps
ramble I was out late the other night and noticed. M45, Exellent with my new binos and the Double Cluster. I remeber it would have been about this time last year that i got my first telescope, a small meade goto jobbie. I also remeber how un-interesting the double cluster looked through that scope at that time. This propted me to get the old meade out and compare the view to that which i remeber. I now realise that it is the experience of observing that gives you the ability to truly see what you are looking at. To those of you who may read this whist thinking about giving up, dont. Even if i had started with the setup i have now i dont think faint fuzzies would have been any easier to see. That night was the strongest reminder of why i chose this hobby in the first place, and i have only view 50% of M objects and a few others. /ramble Robert Geake -- ________________________ http://robert.thegeakes.co.uk/ 51:21N 00:23E |
