Despite his bankruptcy, he still owes money; maybe being homeless is a
ploy, to negotiate a better deal. There are places that rent to people
with bad credit; but, apparently, he doesn't like those places.

But you knowingly have chosen to leach off of everyone else, so that
alone must keep you feeling all warm and cozy, regardless of how cold,
rainy or stormy it gets this winter.

Even if you had a minimal hole in the wall that you could call home
sweet home (perhaps a badly used shipping container), would go a long
ways towards improving yourself and benefiting others at the same
time. *Of course you'd have to actually care about yourself and
others, and we all know that's not an option.

37F here in the greater Beaverton-Hillsboro area. Calm, cloudy,
raining. Last night was dry and frosty. Saw Orion, Sirius, and the
moon in the sky over my head. Expect clear, cool, but not cold,
weather the next few days.

Holes in ice are like black holes. If you get too close to then,
there is no escape. Many people have drowned themselfs trying to pull
somebody out of a hole in the ice!

Bought a bunch of nuts in the shell at clearance prices at Safeway.
But had to argue to get the prices on the shelf. When I actually went
back to point the prices out to them, someone had alread pulled the
prices off the shelf, all the evidence gone! When I went to customer
service, the lady was very accomodating and gave me the prices best I
could remember them. They are very cooperative when the get caught in
one of their little price scams. Most people would never notice the
overcharge it at the till when buying a bunch of other groceries.
Just before the Rose Bowl they were trying to sell trays with about $5
of cheese cubes on them for $49.00! Nice try, Safeway, but nobody
bit! Lean, mean, and hihilistic stores can survive in a hard

Real funny. If it wasn't for others like myself, there wouldn't be
any roads, sidewalks, bridges, public rest-rooms, schools, parks,
dumpsters, electric or hydrocarbon energy, public transportation nor a
good thousand other things that folks like yourself take advantage of
or indirectly benefit from.

You're too smart and healthy enough not to be doing a whole lot better
for yourself, so that you could at least be helping others in stead of
always leaching off them and being so otherwise worthless and kinda
smelly.

43F here in Hillsboro. Cloudy skies. Not raining, but rained last
evening. No wind. 65% humidity. Forecast is for freezing temps the
next few nights. Have to be sure I have my chemical hand warmers.

Been eating a lot of soup lately with Kim. Hot clam chowder is out
favorite for this kind of weather. A lady came out of Starbucks and
told us her bankruptcy filing went through smoothly. Now she can
start over. Another furniture store here is closing and having their
clearance salle. Work on the new Wallmart grocery store right next to
my locker is continuing. When that opens, it should drive a lot more
local businesses into bankruptcy!

Got a free bus pass from Andy. He got a free monthly bus pass that
somebody lost in the library! Now he'll be riding all over town for
the rest of this month.

Heart that Eastman Kodac is on the verge of chapter 11. The Japanese
beat them at the camera game, but they still had their film. But now
cameras don't need film anymore! So where does that leave Kodac?

Glad all my money's on the sideline.

Have a good day, Bert.
