Have just been reading a new book by Colin Burgess called "Fallen
Astronauts". A portion of it recounts the story of Ed Givens fatal
accident. Now I really believe he should be honoured on the Space Mirror
at KSC.

Is there a online petition or somewhere I can write, to let my feelings
known ?

Many thanks...........Adam

Please fill us in on the argument. My impression had always been that he
drove into a ditch in Kemah while returning home from a party. What's the
other version?

I would guess "He drove into a ditch in Kemah whilst returning home from
a party, but they should have put him on, damnit" or something to that
effect.

http://www.collectspace.com/ubb/Foru...ML/000763.html has some
comments, and a couple of arguments, relating to this. Not sure if
they're those in the book, but there can only be a limited number of
arguments to make g

So as it stands now, all the names on the mirror are
folks who have flown, and/or lost their lives in
flight or in a flight-related activity?

On 'official duty' activities -- like Carter, killed in a commercial crash
while on the way to a speech.
