Default 21st century astronomy

That amazing little satellite of Jupiter has always contributed a
wealth of information to heliocentric astronomy, the last being the
astronomical adjustment known as the 'Mora Luminis' developed by Ole
Roemer.

With modern imaging such as HST ,anyone can appreciate how the
orientation of Io and its shadow alters as the Earth orbital motion
approaches and overtakes the slower orbital motion of Jupiter in our
common orbits around the central star.

The old conjunctions were great and from a different era but the new
heliocentric astronomy is more detailed and exciting by taking the
motions of the Earth into account rather than referencing distant
objects to each other.
