Hi Ed, was it 9:15? I thought it was later but could have been mistaken
about the time. It is getting dark earlier now so I think I just assumed it
was later than that. Where were you at when you saw it? I was atop Blue
Mountain near Sultan getting set up for a night of really dark sky
observing. "unfortunately the clouds rolled in pretty good from the south at
about 1:00am and covered up what I really wanted to see" I posted about this
at 1:30am and you should be able to find my report of it below your post.

Hello Tom:
I did not see or record it. I was alerted to it by Peter Davenport of
the UFO reporting centre. I am station operator of a Sandia All-sky patrol
camera from my observatory in Courtenay, B.C. on the mid eastern side of
Vancouver Island. I was fortunate to capture the 3 June 2004 very bright
fireball from my location. Research papers on this event are in progress.
No meteorite has been located yet in Washington State. I am interested in
hearing about any bright fireballs over our area. We need an approximate
time so he all-sky tapes can be searched. I also alert our other stations.
Clear skies:
Ed
