Default Bright Object In The Sky

22.55 BST

A bright object just above the horizon in approx SW direction of sky,

Anybody any ideas on what it is?

Probably Jupiter, given time and location. Take a look through
binoculars and your should be able to resolve the disk and moons.

I would expect Jupiter to be to the North of West when just above the
horizon; and at abut the (similar) time of yesterday's meteor & ISS pass
it was, IIRC, both not low and South of West.

Venus, though again to the right of there, may still be visible then.

If you live round here, it could have been heading for Heathrow.
