Ahh temporarily transfer command get them hitched and then back to work.

Why was russia upset? Is there something prohibiting US crew from doing this?

Your right, they may be minor accomplishment and meaningless 'firsts' from
a technical point of view. But, from a political point of view they are
major accomplishments. Private citizens who truimph over huge bureaucracies
and open the door so others may follow.


It's not a first from that point of view either. Other than the
novel, and irrelevant, circumstances of the groom's location, there is
nothing new in the tale.
