to tank or not tank.....
it appears theres a question of wether to run a test filling the tank,
to test the low fuel sensors, that were just replaced. Although a test can show wether the sensor trouble has been fixed the foam is believed to be damaged by filling the tank repeatedly. the expansion and contraction can cause cracking leading to more foam loss that will likely end the program forever what a interesting catch 22. another failure of the sensors will lead to long futher delays more foam loss probably end the program forever either way nasa loses.... |

to tank or not tank.....
I believe another serious foam loss flight will end the program, if for
no other reason than running out of time to fix it. now tanking test will likely make foam loss worse... another sensor trouble isnt a program ender unless it causes a accident. sensor failure in flight can cause premature engine shutdown or engine detonation and explosion if the engine ran dry, say because of fuel leak. sadly the shuttle has too many ways to get dead... |

Even more sadly, the same can't be said of your endlessly morose
postings Hey think what you like I predicted before columbia that we were going to lose another orbiter . sadly I was right I based this on the increasing number of close calls the program was having..... shuttle workers even some pad rats assured me everything was fine.... |

would everyone please read my original comments!
I clearly said another sensor failure will cause long additional delays.............. more bad foam loss will likely kill the program.............. just what do you disagree with? |
