Default If Species Do Not Exist

definition. But if Species do not exist in
nature, how can we know that they vary
or 'evolve'?

Think of it this way. If you had to make a choice, wouldn't
the better decision be more likely if you had countless number
of possible options from which to choose, rather than
just a few?

Diversity, freedom and constant change are the primary
properties behind evolution/nature A central fault of objective
or 'scientific' methods when it comes to nature is trying to
precisely define that which is continuous, or constantly changing.

There is a very simple reason why these questions of God
and the ultimate impetus behind evolution go on and on.
Just picture how it's thought most solar systems form.
A large interstellar cloud of gas and dust is somehow
disturbed by a nearby supernova. And somewhere that cloud
is compressed enough for gravity to take over.

And viola', spontaneous cyclic order!

Another way to say that, is the ultimate source
of creation results from a ...random disturbance
of a totally ...random system.

Creation, evolution or God is a Mona Lisa-like cloud
of uncertainty.

Science and religion merely approach that solution from
different paths. One reductionist (objective), the other
holistic (subjective). The Answer is found when the two converge
at the same place. The one and only place that can't be precisely
quantified, defined or proven.

That doesn't mean we can't figure it all out.
Quite the contrary.

"I Never saw a moor,
I never saw the sea;
Yet know I how the heather looks,
And what a wave must be.
I never spoke with God,
Nor visited in heaven;
Yet certain am I of the spot
As if the chart were given."

So go ahead, try to define or prove God/evolution one way or another
if you like. It's fruitless. It's something we can only know, not prove.

"But nature is a stranger yet;
The ones that cite her most
Have never passed her haunted house,
Nor simplified her ghost."
