Shuttle was to lift off on June 13, bringing total crew on ISS after it
docks to _13_.
.....thank Quetzalcoatl!*
Fuel leak nailed the terrible Aztec prophecy of this all going wrong:

* Now, how often do you get to use _that_ turn of phrase? :-)

that wouldnt have been good at all, at least its not late january, in
that case the shuttle might have leveled KSC......

the 13 crew is a chilling thought.

apollo 13 launched at 13 13 barely got the crew back alive

A close up of the offending part doesn't provide a whole lot of
confidence in it's reliability.

I mean....the jumbled-spaghetti like wiring, combined (no doubt)
with an ever growing heap of tie-wraps, super glue and duct tape
added after each repair...gives it a look of something dragged
out of some junkyard, shaken a bit to cast off the rust, then
bolted on with a good wrench and a sincere prayer or two.

Fortunately for the crew, this part only deals with tons of hydrogen.

The time was actually 1413 (2:13pm) at Kennedy Space Center.
