[fitsbits] new FITS verifier service

The FITS Support Office Web site now offers a new service for verifying the
format of any FITS data file. The URL to this web page is

http://fits.gsfc.nasa.gov/fits_verify.html

Simply enter the name of any FITS file (on your local machine) to be
verified. The FITS file is then scanned and a report is generated that
lists any violations of the requirements given in the FITS Standard.

This is pretty neat and very useful. Maybe I can convince colleagues
who've sent me bad FITS to reform their ways :-) .
