....On a side note, ISTR snopes having its head handed to them when
they first got started over the alka-seltzer "myth". They claimed it
was a myth, gave some explanation that seagulls can burp, and then
several independent debunkers ran their own experiments, submitted
footage, and proved what we all have known for decades: seagull +
alka-selzter = fowl-flavored salt water fizzies.

Other than that one, snopes is pretty damn good at confirming or
denying urban myths. Perhaps it's time we turned them loose on
LaDefecation and her pet Hard Short?
