No particular reason, just ran into this one and thought it was a nice shot.
And on-topic!!

Gemini 7 as seen from Gemini 6A. Great picture.

No offense, but could you maybe warn us if the pic is that large (nearly
7000x7000 pixels)? It nearly crashed my poor little laptop... thanks

It filled up the empty space on my C drive without completing downloading.

Sorry about that, it's 7.8 megs, I didn't think that that would be too bad
(OK, now I have a cable modem, crime against humanity a few months back :-).

It was a good incentive to flush out the cache on C drive anyway; I'm
going to download it later today.
This must be some large and detailed picture.

6870 x 6870 pixels and 7.62 MB. That's a big picture!

I tried it again, again it filled the C drive up without downloading
completely; There must be some arbitrary file size limit in the
Netscape section of the C drive.
I am now going to defrag the drive and try it yet again.
A wonderful piece of news today, one of my favorite authors committed
suicide:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7005168/?GT1=6190
By pulling a Hemingway; although his suicide would not be completely
unexpected, the bullet through the head part was a bit too tame...I was
expecting a dynamite suicide while riding a Great White shark up the
Potomac.

Well, no doubt he didn't want to get taken out by some Capital cop or
even a Secret Service sniper like some low-class punk before he could
make a dramatic exit.

Dead man switch....sniper shoots at him, Hunter and shark vanish in a
fountain of blood, bone, cartilage, and entrails.
Nearby sightseers are wounded by flying shark teeth...some by flying
Thompson teeth and peyote buttons. ;-)

....What makes Gonzo's death really tragic is that there's rumors
floating about that Garry Trudeau's going to kill off Duke for real
this time, now that his inspiration's kicked his own bucket.
