Default Skywatcher 8" dobson

Hai,

I bought an used 8" dobson skywatcher, has anyone got any tips or tricks for
this telescope..because i'm new to this sort of scopes !?

Hello,

I have a 10" Skywatcher. Firstly collimate it. This process aligns your
optics so you get a sharper image. It's not hard to do at all. Go to my Web
site www.websamba.com/e-stronomy/ and then click on "Resources". I have
several links to "Help with Collimation". Read those. You might also want to
get some good eyepieces as well. This not only improves the quality of the
picture but also allows for different levels of magnification. Other than
that, learn the sky, hope for no clouds and enjoy!
