The Yale Bright Stars Catalog, 9110 brightests stars in text format. Tht file
is yalebsc.zip

From a lot of "Skymap" type software, quite a bit of which is free,
and also enables you to input your location so you have an exact view
of the sky as it appears to you at a particular time. You could do a
Google search using terms like "Free Skymap Software", and one place
that does have such stuff is at:
http://www.fourmilab.ch/
