What if the blackhole's event horizon is not its surface? It could be
high over its surface. It could be as high as a photon can almost sling
short around a blackhole, but still fall in. If just a little further up
it would sling short, and than we can use a miss is as good as 10
miles(more or less) Bert

What if the books on science do a lot of fudging.? They tell us how
strong the electromagnetic force is over gravity, but in reality gravity
wins the battle over all forces, They use the word "charge" or
no charge. for particles. They tell us electrons are negative, and
protons are positive and that electrons outside the atoms nucleus are
held in place because opposite charges attract. What medium is doing the
attraction between these two particles? What medium is the strong force
using with gluons as the messenger particle? Gravity going with
quantum gravity has gravitons as the messenger particle. What message
does it give objects billions of miles apart (like the sun and Pluto)
The fudging to me are words that don't give the reality to what is
taking place. I want to know how thing work. Bert

The Big Fudge in astrophysics/ cosmology is the doctrine that space is
functionally void, when all evidence points to it being a dynamic, fluid
medium amenable to expansion, compression and flow. Under the void-space
regime, you gotta have them 'messenger particles' (gravitons, flying
photons, etc. etc.) just as the medieval religionists needed their imps
and angels. The void-space regime and its many spinoffs are in that same
league. Da Big Fudge.

What if we have to realize we can't measure,or probe the universe
accurately in both the macro and the ultramicroscopic cosmos? We seem
to run into insurmountable problems in both areas. Our best
theory is QM and I feel we have screwed that theory up,because we
fudge.By that I mean we have overstep physical reality. We did
this by using a point particle description. What is meant by point? Is
it a dot? Feynman did not like points as describing particles, and
went so far as using undulating "blobs". I think what makes string
theory popular is that particles are given shapes. There
is a similarity how man probes the micro universe by smashing objects
together, for it produces an explosion, and how nature lets man see its
explosions so we can see how the universe was created, and how explosions
after the big bang kept evolving lighter atoms into heavier atoms, all
the way up to uranium. Bert

What if besides neutrinos there are three more particles to be added to
the missing mass of the universe? they would be in order of their
weight Higgs, monopoles, and gravitons. These are the three heaviest
particles in the universe. Man may never have an accelerator with a
strong enough field to hold them. These three particles could well be
the mini blackholes that Hawking, and others are thinking about. I like
the graviton being so heavy, for it fits well with my gravity theory

What if there is as many dimensions in macro space,as the string theory
tells us about 11 dimensions in micro space.? let me take some of the
iffy away by pointing out how space is molded when a blackhole is
immersed in it. Space takes the shape of a whirl pool
(vortex) This vortex is windy, curly, and loops into a Mobius bottle,
shapes within shapes. A DNA spiral. It is a shame we cannot visualize
anything else but three.Even time becomes abstract. To much time on a
flat earth surface as a reference plane. We need to do more loop de
loops. Standing on our heads . Our brains are in a two dimensional rut.

What if we had GUT ? I think that would only bring our best thoughts
to a logical conclusion as of now. It would make a great platform to
move forward from.(no more than that) I hope no one had the thought
that ends it we know all there is. Far from it. Bert
