You don't bother to read your own cites, do you?

no but this could change at any moment? fact is it may have alread

changed but we just dont know it yet

I do know of a excellent source for totally not secured nuclear waste,

in well maked locations for realtively easy pickings.....

the chernobyl area of russia.....

there are cemetaries with buried waste no humans can visit. just too

dangerous. but few people around for security. some locations have

parts of the old core .......

So if no humans can visit because it's TOO dangerous, what's the problem? Are you worried the terrorists will send in their remote controlled ground vehicles?

terrorists dont mind dying for their cause. so they dig up the waste

and die soon, to get the virgins...

And don't survive to dig up the waste. *Another field where Bobbert

apparently has no knowledge at all.

theres a photo journal wit a gal on a motorcycle touring the area...

Mostly overhyped. *You've brought her up before and had everything you

had to say pretty thoroughly debunked. *Do we really need to go back

and do that yet again?

hot spots are well marked, kinda like putting a sign dig here.

Again, you are without clue.

"Some people get lost in thought because it's such unfamiliar

*territory."

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * --G. Behn

all thats needed is enough time for the terrorist to dig up the nuke

waste before they die happlily to get their virgins.......

fred you have one skill post a lot of crap so the original discussion

is lost, and then your post disappear leaving just a unreadable

mess........

Do you really think the said nuke waste is in a form ready to be used by terrorists? *Imagine a bag of gloves or a coverall contaminated with plutonium. *Do you really think terrorists would just wrap it around a stick of C4 to make a dirty bomb?

Fred has shot you down so many times that everyone here sees your statements as just a flaming crater in the ground. *Perhaps you should bring up a new subject.

dean the effect of any nuke waste being released in the US will have a
major effect on our country.

Bobbert, then why hasn't it happened?

parts of the chernobyl core that exploded and burned are buried in
well marked graveyards.

So you say, but I don't see anyone digging them up.

with so much radioactive material around the world a small aircraft
releasing cesium could cause a mass panic

And yet there's no indication anyone has even come close to doing
anything like this. *Why not, Bobbert?

UP TILL 9 11 no one used airliners as bombs, so obviously it cant
occur.......

Don't assume the rest of us are suffering from your mental
limitations, Bobbert.

airliners would never be used as weapons...... impossible...

Don't assume the rest of us are suffering from your mental
limitations, Bobbert.

your limited by your stupidity. did you read the info, and still
believe theres no credible threat?

You don't read very well, do you, Bobbert?

all countries with nuke weapons or nuke material MUST have perfect
security controll all the time..... perfect security being nothing
lost or stolen.

Not at all. *It merely has to be good enough.

while terrorists need only ONE opportunity......

Apparently that's insufficient, given the current lack of incidents..

terrorists may have the material today but may be waiting for the
opportunity to use it.

terrorists do their thing slowly.

Horse****!

can you imagine what a dirty bomb detonated in new york would cause?
absolute mass panic.....

Can you imagine what a terrorist with an impacted fart could do to
Madison Square Garden?

new york has a state run department that reaches worldwide trying to
prevent events....

If so, that's just silly. *So just what is this New York State
department and how much does it cost the taxpayers of New York?

but no system can be perfect, and protection must be 100% successful....

So where are all the incidents, Bobbert?

the department is large and reaches worldwide, there was a 60 minutes
coverage of it a couple years ago

I'll just note that you've pretty much failed to answer ANY of the
questions asked. *"large and reaches worldwide" based on "60 Minutes
coverage" doesn't give a name for the thing or a cost. *We've been
here before, Bobbert, where you mistakenly claim things, given
'sources', then finally get exposed as having misunderstood what you
saw.

over the world, and the ability to take down a airplane.........

Is that enough for you?

Yep. *And by calling it 'anti-terrorist', they probably got Federal
money to pay for it. *Now they have this neat Gestapo-like strike
force that really seems to have no mission other than discovering
peoples' lunches and screwing up mass transit schedules with random
searches.

that has the ability to down airplanes.... up till now that was up to
our military wasnt it?

heres another point to ponder......

Iran finds a way to take out ISS. and they go ahead and kill our
station knowing full well it could bring about retaliation, but they
go ahead anyway....

and our president finds out and attacks iran.

but thats ok with the iran leaders......

because when iran is attacked by US its sets off WW3....

soon our entire world is ablaze, started by a group of militants /
terrorists in iran....

do you believe a US major strilke would just be accepted by terrorists
worldwide?

I believe we would have car bombs detonating all over our country and
at least some dirty bombs if not full fledged nukes....

I believe if they could do that they would already be doing it.

Car bombs and people bombs are pretty simple things. obviously they
know how to do it in many places......

so you feel secure snce it hasnt happened yet?

9 11 should of shown every thinking person that just because it hasnt
happened yet, you shouldnt relax.......

You do understand why the Cheyenne Mountain facility was built, don't
you? It was NOT because of concern about terrorists....

I guess Bob has forgotten about the Cold War completely. Not surprising
as his mind seems to ignore real threats, like an ICBM with a nuclear
warhead on top. Instead, he concentrates on obscure corner cases which
are vanishingly unlikely to happen, like a dirty bomb made from
radioactive Chernobyl debris dug up from imaginary nuclear graveyards.
