The "nutria" splashing around the pond in front of where I sit, and the ducks making their strange summer night noises in the pond to my back. Occasionally a mosquito buzzes in my ear, but thankfully they are rare, and only seem to like to bite me on the wrist. Bats patrol the air for insects until dawn, and then the swallows take over. Selene in half phase is about to make another conjuction with Jupiter. Pegasis in on the rise in the east, and the Pleiades can be seen once more. Double-A |

For zippos, pipe cleaners make the best wicks.
How will you cook your Nutria ? an open-pit fire ?
Speaking of starting a fire .. I discovered that, for zippos, pipe cleaners make the best wicks. My fancy grocery store, QFC, has a microwave anyone can use. It also has a posh Starbuck's lounge that anyone can use, cost-free. Although I never notice it myself, people tell me I smell ( especially when I'm hot and sweaty ); so, when out in public, I worry about that. |

Monsoons heading back. Much rain later today, and for the next 3 days.
Police getting no where finding the Anthony baby. Funny they hint around that the car back seat its where the clues can be found, but never mention that babies have died being left alone in a car with the windows up. I do not trust the grandparents. They are making a show on finding Caylee but in reality I feel they are covering up what really happened They know they could go to jail for with holding evidence. If I am right about this they should all go to jail, and the key blasted off into space Bert |

A library too, but only 2 Internet computers. I didn't notice a microwave, but the store has another nice featu an in store liquor store! Unusual for Oregon. But alas, no money to spend. It also has a posh Starbuck's lounge that anyone can use, cost-free. Here there is a Starbucks on every corner, and in every store! Didn't anyone ever tell them about market saturation? No wonder they are having to close stores now. Although I never notice it myself, people tell me I smell ( especially when I'm hot and sweaty ); so, when out in public, I worry about that. Just let them that stuff coroners stick in their noses when autopsying a ripe corpse. Or let them learn to do the same as they do when they see the local skunk trapper coming: always stay up wind! It's their problem. Double-A |
