At least the BBC covers space and science.

Space and science coverege at the BBC is first rate, front and center.

It's almost like Great Britain and the European Union are civilized or
something.

glow in such a way as to indicate that:

"If only we spent the money fighting poverty instead."

NASA's human spaceflight budget is about the same as the amount
spent annually by Europe's football (soccer) teams on player salares.

If only *that* money was spent fighting poverty instead.

Or, what about the money spent on opera? Or ballet? Or art?
Or religion?

Or recreational boating? Or dog ownership? Or "body art"?
Or overpriced sunglasses?

Or, how about the resources wasted by people who spend all
of their type posting messages on the Internet?
