I just saw some of it. They said - if an atom were as big as our solar
system, a string would be as big as a tree.- I am just a stargazing hobbyist, no extra science education beyond high school. I've seen large redwoods in California and still have a hard time wondering how they can possibly know what they are talking about. |

Yet another futile attempt at explaining spiritual existence with a physical model. The only strings that exist in reality are those which hold Mr. Green's underwear together. Rick |

I saw the show and his book was much better, Brian Greene was throwing
an electron back and forth to show attraction. That shows repulsion(go figure) Bert |

Scott You again miss the main thought. He used photons but the point
Greene was making by throwing an object back and fourth pushes them apart He said towards each other. In books they use a medicine ball and two people on ice skates throwing the ball back and fourth That creates repulsion.Scott think about it (please) My theory on the structure of an electron is that it is a field made of photons spinning at 'c' My spin theory answers a lot of hard questions, and does answer EM attraction, and how the graviton is used in quantum gravity. It gives reality to photon reflection. Bert PS The name of my spin theory is "Spin Is In" |
