Default Saturn V staging footage

Everyone has seen the famous footage of a Saturn V first stage and
interstage dropping off, and the third stage firing and pulling away -
from the perspective of the second stage. I just finished watching
the Mighty Saturn V DVD (except for some of the quarterly reports),
and the first stage and interstage are from Apollo 4. But the third
stage as seen from the second stage isn't on the DVD set (unless I
dozed off somewhere). Which mission is the famous third stage video
from (and which DVD)?

Secondly, how did they recover this film - did the camera stay with
the second stage? Did it eject and parachute back?

IIRC, that S-IVB was not really a Saturn V third stage separating from
the second - it was really a Saturn IB second stage separating from the
first. The giveaway is the three separation motors firing on the S-IVB -
the Saturn V version only required two because the separation occurred
at much lower dynamic pressure.

I didn't think about that, but there is a good chance that you are
right.

That's the case; the camera footage is from one of the earlier unmanned
Saturn 1B tests.
There's also existing footage showing the original upper stage with its
six RL10 engines separating from a Saturn 1, which is also mighty
impressive.
The cameras and film were housed in small ejectable pods which descended
into the sea separately from the stages themselves.
Here's a photo of one with its recovery ballute deployed:

That's from he

I assume the footage is on the DVD set dedicated to the Saturn 1.

I haven't been able to find it on the DVD.

That's SA-6, and is on the first Saturn I/IB DVD (twice).

On the Saturn V from the bottom of the second stage, (there seems to
have been two cameras) I think you can see what seems that the cameras
are being ejected and continuing to film for a short bit.

They _have_ to have that; it's the most famous piece of Saturn 1B
footage, and served as the inspiration for the ejection of the
greenhouse domes from the Valley Forge in "Silent Running" and the
launch of the escape pod from Princess Leia's ship in "Star Wars".
There's even a YouTube video of it: http://youtube.com/watch?v=2dz9S5d8gtE

Make heads or tails of this website: http://www.experiencefestival.com/s-ivb
They're the "Oneness Commitment", yet the ads concern how to get

It was _apparently_ from AS202.

There is some similar footage from AS-201 but it is shorter and not as
good. The famous footage is not on the Mighty Saturn I/IB DVD and it
is not on the Liftoff DVD. I can't find it on my DVDs.
