ASTRO: NGC 6804
One of the many planetary nebula in Aquila. Most color photos show more
red than I picked up. Not sure why mine came out so blue. The star field doesn't appear blue nor the background. This one was taken when the scope was somewhat out of collimation so stars are a bit elongated at an odd angle. Its more noticeable on the bright ones of course. 14" LX200R @ f/10, L=4x10' RGB=2x10' binned 3x3, STL-11000XM, Paramount ME Rick -- Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct. Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh". |
