Default Mount Wilson Observatory Centennial today

Today marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of Mount Wilson
Observatory. To mark the event, a special section of Centennial material
has been added to the observatory's web site. This is just the beginning
-- much more material will be added throughout the coming year including
articles, many photos from the historic archives, recollections from staff
and more.

Go to the observatory's home page at http://www.mtwilson.edu and click on
the icon for the Centennial page.

Comments, feedback and suggestions welcome at mikes at mtwilson dot edu.
This will be a work in progress so requests are welcome, too!

I like it so far, especially Don Nicholson's statement. He is truly, of
all people, "Mr. Mount Wilson Observatory" by virtue of tenure.
Mt. Wilson Observatory is surely on my mind today, and I am proud to be
associated with it.
