Default Power cuts

We have just got the electricity back afetr a cut at 9.20 this
morning. Seeboard say the ground zero for the cuts - the epicentre -
is a small, sleepy and apparently harmless hamlet called Hastingleigh.

If I discover that a uksa member has had a hand in this I shall do
such things - what they are I know not - but they shall be the terrors
of the earth.

Cheers

Martin

Think yourself lucky Martin, you would not get any compensation for lost
food (fridge/freezer) until you had been off 18 hours. 10 hours isnt too
bad considering the nice weather !

Why ? Surely you've lacked light pollution locally ?

Given Stephen's response, it seems Hastingleigh is totally to blame
(don't sh*t on your own doorstep, and all that). I reckon they were
doing a practise run for the next new moon, when it'll ONLY be located
AT Hastingleigh…

So, Martin, what are you actually p*ssed about?
The power cut (boy I would appreciate one in Greenford between 9.20 am
and 6pm) or the fact that the 9 hours was during the day?
;-)

I'm ****ed about the fact that I don't have a UPS and three times (in 5
cuts) lost some complex (well complex for me) work on the computer.

With the cost of a basic UPS at under £60, it should really be
considered by all.
