I thought I was a gonner -- the tractor driver didn't hear my hooter. The trailer wheel took out a headlight, ripped off the bumper and made a slight dent in the metalwork of the front before the driver realised he'd hit something. The lad was desperately apologetic! I drive an old car (G -reg Sierra) and, living in the country, I don't expect it to remain pristine, but the car is still going to need some repair. Bummer. Mind you, I'm off to Zimbabwe late next week, so I'll not miss it.
