Default Merry Christmas and all that ROT !

Well, it's going to probably rain in the Los Angeles area this Christmas,
and probably for a couple of days after that. Right now it's very cloudy
and overcast and no prospects for observing.

Therefore, a rational amateur Astronomer can only come to one,
inescapable, inevitable conclusion . . .

SOMEONE in the LA area is getting a new wiz-bang scope for Christmas. And
because of the tremendous amount of cloud activity, it's obviously an
experienced amateur; a novice wouldn't be able to generate this level of
activity, even given that it's a major gift-giving holiday.

So, I have to ask the 64,000,000 question:

WHO is the guilty party ? ? ! ! !

Whoever it is, you've just ruined my plans to observe Saturn, not only for
this week, but since Friday last. The joy you're going to have when you
receive your new equipment is more than made up by the gloom for the rest of
us who want to look at more than the bottom of clouds.

So, confess to your Astronomical sin, unburden yourself of your guilt, so
we can get these clouds cleared out !
^_^

Oh, and Merry Christmas to you !
^_^

Here come Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus
Right down Santa Claus lane
He doesn't care if you're rich or poor boy
Loves you just the same
Santa knows that we're God's children
That makes everything right
Fill your hearts with Christmas cheer
'cause Santa Claus is coming tonight

Try south Florida, it looks like London on a bad day, rainy, cloudy, and
now, its also humid. I guess summer is staring early... Someone must have
