Default A commemoration of the Challenger Disaster

My next door neighbor is the college where Christa McAuliffe earned her
teaching degree. Her death in Challenger hit this town personally. The
college makes a real effort to not just remember her, but inspire kids
to strive towards space. They have a special program for the 20th

20th Anniversary of Challenger 51-L Accident Approaches

January 28, 2006 - The McAuliffe Center will recognize the 20th
anniversary of the accident that claimed the lives of the Challenger 51-
L crew with a week of special events. Highlights will include the
premier of the new documentary film Christa McAuliffe: Reach For the
Stars, the unveiling of a new Mars Rover model, and special activities
