Default Antoniadi - A Chessplaying Astronomer

While travelling from one link to another I came across the following article about one of our favorite planetary observers - and the developer of a popular astronomical seeing scale:

www.chesshistory.com/winter/extra/antoniadi.html

It appears the E. M. Antoniadi was a fairly strong chessplayer.

Sketcher,
To sketch is to see.
