Default The nuclear power sky is falling...

: Brad Guth
: Your dislike of anything that wasn't of your idea to start with is

... entirely in your imagination, and nowhere else. There are
endless numbers of things that I like that weren't my idea, including
eggs benedict, fission power, the http protocol, the scripting lanugage
python, and direct methane fuel cells in some applications, to name just
a random sampling. And that's before you get to things like synchronous
orbital skyhooks, which are a very nifty concept if they can be made
workable, even if they aren't off-the-shelf technology today.

: Can you list any individual(s) that your vast expertise of cleaner and
: more renewable energy has actually assisted in getting whatever to
: market at a competitive or lower cost?

Can you? Even one? Beuler? Beuler?
This "expertise" you blather on about (but don't have any of) is not
even remotely necessary to do the simple arithmetic that shows geothermal
power with anything remotely resembling plausible technology will never
be a significant, cost-effective contributor to the global energy budget
(while at the same time being eminentoly practical over hotspots).
All that's needed for that is arithmetic and minimal data about the
average heat flux at earth's surface.

Default The nuclear power sky is falling...

: Brad Guth
: Meanwhile, geothermal has been working,

On hotspots, and pretty much nowhere else.

: In addition to human induced AGW estimated by some of us as roughly
: 452 mw/m2 (230.5 TW or 32.9 kw each), the all inclusive geothermal
: upwelling

To mention global warming and geothermal power in the same breath
is a good indicator of your grasp of the situation.

Your lack of comprehension is noted.

Vertical TBMs can exceed 80 meters per day.

300 days = 24 km

Where's the down side?
