So they'll be buying more power from France, then?

well japan just announced they are building solar and wind farms and
going to harvest methane slush near their country.

such diversfication may make nuke power totally unnecessary.

the head of japan doesnt sound poro nuke either. the country made
major screw ups when fukashima melted down espically with a too small
evacuation zone.

some people died of starvation in the excusion zone, those who failed
to leave for one reason or another.....

i wonder if japans cancer rate will soar for people that really should
of been evacuated? its possible far from fukashima some radiation
levels remain much higher than close by even today

Perhaps that's because we don't have a lot of plants that are subject
to 8+ magnitude earthquakes followed by meter 10 tsunamis.

oh really how about along the west coast? The NRC admitted publically
we have plants at the same risks

Yeah, really. *When was the last time we saw 9.0 earthquake combined
with a 15 meter tsunami anywhere on the west coast? *How about
'never'?

Just what IS the largest offshore earthquake and the largest tsunami
ever to occur off the west coast anywhere near any nuclear plant,
Bobbert?

You talk a lot of ****e, but you're always real light on the facts.
Now's your chance. *Try making a REAL case with REAL facts and REAL

Yep. *The San Andreas fault is on LAND until you get to the northern
sector and doesn't generally create tsunamis. *You should go look at
the geologic history of 'the Ring of Fire' and get a clue about this
stuff.

The San Francisco earthquake was under an 8. *Keep in mind that the
earthquake scale is logarithmic, so that means even the massive 1906
San Francisco earthquake only had around 10% of the energy of the one
at Fukashima. *And keep in mind that it is the TSUNAMI on top of the
earthquake that was the problem at Fukashima. *Without the tsunami,
everything would have been fine. *Despite having an epicenter that was
offshore, there was no massive tsunami accompanying the San Francisco
earthquake. *Ok, there WAS a tsunami, but it was only about 3 INCHES
high.

So, let's try again:

Just what IS the largest offshore earthquake and the largest tsunami
ever to occur off the west coast anywhere near any nuclear plant,
Bobbert? *Please give epicenter location and nearest nuclear facility,
strength of the earthquake, and height of the tsunami that followed.

You talk a lot of ****e, but you're always real light on the facts.
Now's your chance. *Try making a REAL case with REAL facts and REAL
probabilities.

Not Chicken Little arm waving, like what you just did.

Fred likes others to pretend everything is just fine and dandy, just
like the upper cast of Zionist Jews told their lower caste to trust
whatever Hitler was doing because, in the end the Zionist religion and
their satanic policies would get to dominate Earth regardless of the
warlord(s) in charge.

Yet you claim he's spereading "Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt".
Now you're claiming the exact opposite. Make up your mind.

Well, OK, so you don't *have* a mind, just basal galglia and reflexive
word torrents. But shouldn't there be *some* consistrency in your rants?

Or at least come up with some fresh word salad someday.

If you only like the bad guys, especially if they're Semites, then
noting I or anyone else has to say can possibly change your closed
mindset.

BTW; we don't see you or those of your family living anywhere
downwind or downstream from any nuclear or even a coal fired power
plant, or even near heavy industry. Why is that?

Why don't you tell us how those pesky carcinogens and radiation of
various kinds are not accumulative and have absolutely no genetic
impact whatsoever?

I wonder how long the US will play russian roulette before it bites
us?

US: Nebraska nuclear plant fire was serious threat

US nuclear regulators say a fire that knocked out the cooling system
for spent fuel at a nuclear plant in Nebraska last year represented a
serious safety threat.

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued a preliminary report on
Monday into the fire at the Fort Calhoun plant last June.

The report says the plant operator could have prevented the fire if it
had investigated an unusual smell coming from an electric breaker 3
days earlier.

The fire caused a loss of power that knocked out the system to cool
spent nuclear fuel for about 90 minutes.

However, the report says temperatures never exceeded safe levels as
the plant had been shut down for refueling maintenance from about 2
months earlier.

US nuclear regulators are keen to avoid any nuclear accident, drawing
lessons from the Fukushima nuclear disaster in Japan.

The US has been playing Russian roulette for decades with lots of
nasty stuff other than reactors.

You don't honestly think the cold-war wasn't mutually contrived for
government job security, benefits and terrific profits on both sides?
