Default How many satellites of doom are out there ?

anyone knows how many satellites with doomsday weapons are out there,
sent into orbit by the USA, the Russians, the Chinese or the French ?

Maybe there are dozens of satellites with deadly laser beams out there
and one malfunction can cause the end of the world ...

I did enjoy that episode of X-Files, "Killswitch", with the
death-laser from the sky.

Don't forget the magical mytical T3 to a house trailer in a field.
Whoever wrote that has never had to deal with a real telco before; they
are mighty picky about demarcs (not to mention there are more than a
dozen T3s in the DC area and I doubt the government has maps of them all
- sometimes the telcos don't even know where all their circuits go!).

I don't speak for anybody but myself - that's enough trouble.
