Dang. They beat SpaceX to orbit. Maybe. This news is still a bit
fuzzy, but it's likely accurate this time.

I'm amused at seeing elsewhere an Atlas V launch emblazoned on the
Iranian flag, complete with lightning arrestor towers.

I don't trust them; it doesn't mention anything about orbit, or mass of the
satellite.

Was it launched into orbit, or just on a sub-orbital trajectory? Has there
been any independent confirmation (Space Command)?
