Europa on Nightline
did anyone watch that Nightline segment in which
they showed scenes from 2010? They talked about Europa, and finding water on it and the possibility of life. Did scientists as far back as 1984 believe there was water and possibly life on Europa? and what if there is, then what? do we fly there to examine and contaminate it? |

The decision to have the Galileo satelite burn up in Jupiter's atmosphere
was done exactly to avoid the possibility of such contamination. So the issue is being taken seriously. Bill C.
