I read in the Astromart forums that Thomas is going in for surgery
next...umm...this week.

Nice sentiments Bill. Tom's one of the good ones.

Thanks for bringing it up- I didn't know he'd decided to go through
with it. Back surgery is a pretty scary thing, even these days.

Could this result from repeatedly lifting his wallet containing the
profits from selling Russian spotting 'scopes to people with far more
money than sense? Who would see more with a good quality 10" Newt.
Assuming they ever went out to observe! Instead of staying in to play
with their toys.
