Ok ok, I know it is typical of New York, but damn if we didn't have
nice weather for all the work-days, and ****ing rain the night of
Persieds peak.

Well...think you got it bad? We've got Bonnie and Charlie to contend with! No
observing for me.

Sounds like a good time to observe a little Rebel Yell!

Yes of course, but only to the same extent as buying a new telescope!

God help the poor slob that bought a scope this week. We're all rained out
for the Perseids? Florida getting slammed with a hurricane. OK, fess up, who
did it?

Hi Jan:

You must be psychic...that's _exactly_ what happened! :-) We're still
watching Charlie, but Bonnie turned out to be a big nothing (lots of
rain, our street flooded).

It was me - sorry. I promise not to buy another scope ever again. Well,
maybe someday....

There is nothing more frustrating than having a new telescope sitting there
that can't be used due to weather.

Or even a beloved "old" telescope. *sigh*
