A series of tugs launched one after another might but that would be probably be rather complex*, with all the problems that word involves.. The tug is also designed to take advantage of docking systems on current and future satellites that simply aren't present on Hubble. *By comparison it would probably simplier to modify soyuz into an solar ion-tug, build a temporary launch point on a more appropiet lattitude and manually dock it to Hubble, turn it on, and then dock it at the station 18 months later. John |
