NASA congratulates SpaceShipOne's X prize win
"Jacques van Oene" wrote in message ... NASA Administrator Sean O'Keefe today congratulated the SpaceShipOne team on the third successful flight of a private human spacecraft. The team also wins the $10 million X Prize competition. When the X-Prize was announced, I never thought I'd hear the NASA Administrator congratulating the winning team. Am I the only one, or does this look like a (small) change in direction for NASA? Jeff -- Remove icky phrase from email address to get a valid address. |

Jeff -- I think not. Lip service has been done by NASA before. I remember the Space Frontier Foundation meeting where there was practically a love fest between Dan Goldin and Rick (forgot last name while posting). That didn't last long. Mike Walsh |
