Default ASTRO: Galaxies IC 1733 & 1735; Abell Cluster 260

I took this image looking for Supernova 2006je
(http://astro.berkeley.edu/~bait/2006/sn2006je.html), but alas, it's gone,
or at least it's dimmer than 20th magnitude or so.

The image was taken with an SBIG STL-1301E thru an OGS 20-inch F/8.1 RC
Cass. It's a 15 minute exposure and the field of view is 12x16 arc minutes,
with North at the top; image scale = .8 arc sec per pixel, seeing was
"awful" (or worse). I'll post a negative version with a few of the galaxies
ID'ed.

For more info see: http://www.kopernik.org/images/archive/I1735.htm

Nice bunch of galaxies George. Looks like you have the big scope running
again. Not that I didn't like your widefield stuff, but this is more to my
taste ;-)

Lots of cool edge-ons in this field!

Stefan,

The wide-fields shall return!

The OGS RC20 is now almost back to normal. I got the collimation nearly
on, but tracking still is still off. It needs more polar alignment work or
Tpoint.
