It has been an unusually cold February here in Oregon this year.. But I have seen colder. I used to get pretty cold when I was sleeping in my car. Last night a lot of ice pellets came down just as I was getting home. Still some on the grass today, and in shady spots on the pavement. Now Sun is out and shining.

Currently 45F as of 2 PM here in Gresham. Wind east at 5 mph. Humidity 54%. Haven't heard from you in a while. Thought maybe you had sailed to far out in that barrel boat and fell of the edge of the world!

Well it's 38F right here right now as of 1:30 PM here in Gresham. Was snowing early this morning, but most of it melted. Tomorrow might be a different story. I heard on a national news broadcast that Portland could get 2 feet of snow in the next few days! We've already got all the snow we were hoping for in the mountains to ensure water for the summer. Flagstaff has gotten 5 feet of snow! Currently heavy clouds here. Wind east at 8 mph. Humidity 87%.

I think I will update my bus pass early, not knowing what days I will able to get out again!

44F here today and mostly calm after much colder snow and hard east wind spell. Humidity 43%.

The Oregon Legislature is in session passing radical laws, like rent control, and drivers licenses for illegal Mexicans.

A very nice day! March has truly come in like a lamb! Now sunny and 46F as of 3:30 PM here in Gresham. Some easterly breeze. Humidity 47%. No chance of rain or snow. Saw a little snow mixed with the rain on my way home last night.

Today I walked about a mile from a store I was at to a bus stop to go a half mile further to the transit center. Two buses passed us by with the "Drop Off Only" sign on! By the time a bus finally stopped for us 30 minutes later, I could have walked the whole 3/4 mile to the library in less time than I stood there waiting! Public transportation sucks!

Too many Mexicans around here these days! I think ICE should be able to deputize us, allow us to carry guns, and enable us to check then and make citizens arrests if they cannot produce a green card! Somebody has to have the guts to start forcing the issue!

Default Now is the Winter of Our Discontent

Another week of freezing weather with hard east wind. That is why I stayed home most of the week. Yesterday I did venture out for my weekly lunch with Kim. But it snowed all day! Fortunately not much of it stuck, and little remains today. Corbett schools were closed yesterday. Where's global warming? Today is much different. A welcome south wind is blowing at 10 mph and the temp is up to 44F as of 1 PM here in Gresham. Spring is only 2 weeks away! Sun occasionally breaks through the clouds. Humidity 68%. Chance of precipitation 55%.

Kim said she knew some song that called for the coming of spring. I told her she should be singing it!

Same here. Some snow is back on the ground again from last nights flurries. Now a little warmer at 46F as of 2:45 PM. Some sun and puffy clouds after a foggy morning. Wind east again at 12 mph. Humidity 52%.

Daylight Saving Time starts tomorrow. Seems odd in what still feels like the middle of winter!
