Celebrating the Mercury mission
The very least they can do is partition the perspectives between the faster and slower moving planets where the actual loop of the faster Mercury seen from a slower moving Earth contrasts sharply with the illusory loops of the slower moving Mars seen from a faster moving Earth -
https://www.universetoday.com/wp-con...T_edited-1.jpg https://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap160915.html After 500 years since Copernicus first overcame the hurdle for direct/retrogrades of the slower moving planets and an indirect extrapolation of a Sun centered system this way, the tie is right to account for the direct/retrogrades of the actual loop of Mercury before it arrives in the inner solar system and the planet closest to the Sun. Maybe not the normal contributors here but everyone else is welcome to celebrate our solar system neighbourhood as they should. |
