Oh for gods sake grow up. Those people chose homes made of fast growth pine because its cheap. If you want a strong house make it from concrete blocks, like most of Europe does. Steel reinforced, concrete floors, and foundation, earthquake proof and strong. and while goats are common the fact the forest is unfenced makes the use of animals impossible. We only use trained or domesticated goats, and don't seem to have any problems other than providing real honest to god jobs for those that happen own goats for rent. Wow. Go for it. Import your goats to France and let them go wild to eat all the scrub. In any case, lamenting the loss of close grained timber for the wood industry is no reason to try to engineer the climate. Bamboo is actually terrific fiber that makes way better laments for most every conceivable application. Correct, but you obviously don't know what our "chipboard" is, because no sane or even insane person builds their home out of pine. Goats going wild is not necessary, besides once their job of devouring that pesky brush and thus greatly reducing fire hazard and their natural organic fertilizing job is done, you can always eat the goats and burn to death next year. Relocating our trusty moon into Earth L1 is daunting but not insurmountable. There's actually lots of benefits besides terminating all forms of GW+AGW combined. |
