Default Identifying a part for NexStar 6SE

A cap fell off my scope today. It sort of looks like a thumb or
gravestone, and has a trash can icon with an X through it. Where does it go?

During alignment, two star, the choice of stars seems limited to maybe
20. Is there a longer list I can somehow use?

The icon is telling you not to throw it away. My only advice is to look
for a matching part on the telescope.

The list of alignment stars is built into the firmware. What you have
is what you get. You'd need to bypass the built-in firmware to enlarge
the list. I don't know of any project for Celestron telescopes like
the EQASCOM driver for EQ-6 telescopes. In any case the list covers
enough of the sky that you should be able to find alignment stars.
