Default WARNING: Geomagnetic K-Index of 6 expected -- Issue Time: 2015 Aug 281708 UTC

Space Weather Message Code: WARK06
Serial Number: 288
Issue Time: 2015 Aug 28 1708 UTC

WARNING: Geomagnetic K-Index of 6 expected
Valid From: 2015 Aug 28 1710 UTC
Valid To: 2015 Aug 28 2000 UTC
Warning Condition: Onset
NOAA Scale: G2 - Moderate

NOAA Space Weather Scale descriptions can be found at
www.swpc.noaa.gov/noaa-scales-explanation

Potential Impacts: Area of impact primarily poleward of 55 degrees Geomagnetic Latitude.
Induced Currents - Power grid fluctuations can occur. High-latitude power systems may experience voltage alarms.
Spacecraft - Satellite orientation irregularities may occur; increased drag on low Earth-orbit satellites is possible.
Radio - HF (high frequency) radio propagation can fade at higher latitudes.
Aurora - Aurora may be seen as low as New York to Wisconsin to Washington state.

I am having great fun with these topics as everyone else is unable to discuss them as they should.

Despite the notion of lethargic convection cells by which they try to explain plate tectonics, the fluid Earth beneath the fractured crust is not exempt from the same differential rotation across latitudes witnessed in all rotating celestial bodies in a viscous state , in fact the actual viscosity pours out of every volcano and sometimes crustal seams -

So, the Sun has a magnetic blanket and researchers are fairly close on this one -

"The magnetic field of a rotating body of conductive gas or liquid develops self-amplifying electric currents, and thus a self-generated magnetic field, due to a combination of differential rotation (different angular velocity of different parts of body), Coriolis forces and induction." Wiki

You would think that the mechanism for crustal evolution at the Mid Atlantic Ridge, the 26 mile spherical deviation of the Earth and the electromagnetic field would combine under the feature of differential rotation given so many significant clues but empiricists have decided to exempt the Earth's fluid interior from the mechanism which all rotating viscous compositions display.

Leave science vs religion to those who know no better, there is a lot to research and there are the tools to do it.
