Do you actually believe that digging a hole in the ground in Mars is going to answer the question "Where Did All the Water On Earth Came From?"???? You need a lot more water than that...(if anybody bothered to measure how much water there is on earth) It's very simple...the Universe is made up of mostly water...it's simply not in a hole in the ground. The universe is mostly hydrogen and helium. Oxygen gets created in stars, and spread around when stars blow up. So there's no mystery about where water comes from. The motive for drilling holes on Mars is to find out whether there is any water there, not to find out where water came from. Sylvia. Water has to be protected from being broken down .Moon has no protection thus no surface water.Bert |
