To my friends, I'll be back next year...

To all my Earth bound, as well as all my out-of-this-world friends. I want
to wish you all a happy new year. I haven't had much time to post much
lately, and it looks like I may not be around until New Years. I've been
rather busy.... I will be departing for Las Vegas early tomorrow, to
continue face to face negotiations with representatives of Sony Nippon
(Japan) concerning licensing a restricted form of my FTL information
transfer methods for application in a new generation of computer CPU
devices. By applying many simultaneous superluminal channels within the
structure of a semiconductor to carry information at no loss it should be
possible to create a computer brain that approaches the theoretical
capabilities of a Quantum Computer, without retooling the current generation
of foundries much. The cool thing about this is these guys are equipped and
serious. They want to wine me and dine me in some of the oriental pleasure
palaces they have established in some Hotel's 'hospitality rooms', then
shove a ton of money at me for a non-exclusive right to use my technology in
their chips, and that means I'll still be able to talk about superluminal
developments in the field of communications because it has nothing to do
with CPU chips (so isn't covered by the NDA). The sad thing is INTEL wasn't
interested :-( ...

Just as long as you don't assist in creating the Vicky mega
quantum computer logic of the " I Robot " Hollywood movie fame you
should be ok. I was wondering where you had been since your posting was
certainly limited. Good luck in your negotiations with the Sony group
and here's hoping you have a good, fruitful, and safe trip.
