Yes I too find the moon wonderful and magnificent to observe. So many
ways to appreciate the views. My favorite was when in conjunction
with Mars last summer. Intense!

The small features in Plato are a very worthy challenge regardless
of gear or experience. It takes practice to get results, and then
you will find what works for you .... but its a very fun challenge to
pursue in a systematic way. Very good luck....
