There are immortal jellyfish as is, so how would adding more gravity help them live any longer? Gravity kills more of us than most anything else our planet has to offer. Less gravity would be a very good thing for most of us humans. |

If Jupiter had life it would have a longer time lapse(laps) Go figure TreBert One thing that hasn't been sufficiently tested is the constancy of gravity over time. Will a ball fall at exactly the same rate today as it did in Galileo's time? It is assumed that the gravitational constant is constant over both time and space. Yet getting a precise value for it has proved to be a problem. What if it has changed over time? What if it is different at different locations in the universe? If not, it might explain the things scientists have had to turn to dark matter and dark energy to explain. Double-A P.S. You great scientist who browse this newsgroup to get your ideas (Hawking et al) remember to give credit where credit is due. |
